[English]

Digital transformation and the emergence of advanced technologies have propelled supply chains into a new phase of intelligence and human-centric design. This study aims to examine the impact of Industry 5.0 on sustainable supply chain practices, performance, risk mitigation, and sustainable competitive advantage in the automotive industry. Additionally, the mediating role of sustainable supply chain practices in the relationship between Industry 5.0 and both performance and risk mitigation is explored. This research employs an applied, descriptive, and correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The statistical population comprises employees from selected Iranian automobile industries. A sample of 384 individuals was selected using a purposive sampling method. Data were collected using a standard questionnaire, whose validity was confirmed through content, convergent, and discriminant validity, and reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha and composite reliability. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling with Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results indicate that Industry 5.0 has a positive and significant effect on sustainable supply chain practices, performance, and supply chain risk mitigation. Moreover, sustainable supply chain practices also have a direct and substantial impact on both performance and risk mitigation in the supply chain. The mediating analysis further revealed that sustainable practices significantly mediate the relationship between Industry 5.0 and both supply chain performance and risk mitigation. Findings demonstrate that supply chain performance has a significant impact on achieving a sustainable competitive advantage. Results offer practical insights for industry managers in designing technological, sustainable, and risk-mitigating strategies within the framework of Industry 5.0 implementation.
